Multi-Client Invoice Tracking
Managing invoices across multiple clients is complex — different payment terms, different client personalities, different chase histories, different amounts. InvoiceGrid's multi-client invoice dashboard gives you a unified view of every outstanding invoice across all your clients, so you can manage your entire AR portfolio from one place.
What It Does
All clients, all invoices, one view
The Kanban board shows every outstanding invoice across every client in a single pipeline view. No switching between clients, no separate spreadsheets.
Per-client chase history
Each client has their own payment history in InvoiceGrid. See all invoices and all chase interactions for a specific client at any time.
Prioritize by urgency across all clients
The Today View surfaces the most urgent invoices across all clients — not by client, but by priority. Know where to focus your collections effort today.
Total AR across all clients
InvoiceGrid shows your total outstanding AR balance across all clients and all invoices — how much money you're owed right now, in total.
For context on accounts receivable management, see FreshBooks: Accounts Receivable Management Guide.
How It Works
Add all your outstanding invoices
Log every client's outstanding invoice in InvoiceGrid. Each invoice is associated with a client, amount, due date, and chase stage.
See the full picture
The Kanban board shows all invoices from all clients. See which clients have multiple outstanding invoices, which are the most overdue, and which have been chased most recently.
Focus on Today View
Each morning, the Today View shows which invoices need attention right now across all clients. Work through the list systematically.
Review client history before chasing
Before sending a reminder to a client, check their full payment history in InvoiceGrid. Know their payment patterns and what was said in previous chases.
Important context
InvoiceGrid is not an accounting or invoicing tool. It doesn't create invoices, track expenses, or handle taxes. It's the payment collection layer that works alongside your existing invoicing tool — whether that's FreshBooks, Xero, QuickBooks, or a PDF invoice. See the pricing page for full feature details.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a limit on how many clients I can track in InvoiceGrid?+
Free plans allow tracking for up to 5 active invoices. Paid plans have no limit on clients or invoices — you can track 100 clients and 500 invoices simultaneously.
Can I see all invoices from one specific client?+
Yes. InvoiceGrid allows you to filter the Kanban board and Today View by client. You can see the full payment history, all outstanding invoices, and all chase interactions for any individual client.
Can multiple team members use InvoiceGrid to track invoices for different clients?+
InvoiceGrid is currently designed for use by an individual or a small team managing the same AR portfolio. For agencies, the most common setup is one account manager or operations person managing the AR pipeline for all clients.
How does InvoiceGrid handle clients with different payment terms (Net 14 vs Net 30)?+
Each invoice has its own due date, which you set when you log the invoice. InvoiceGrid calculates overdue days from that date — so Net 14 and Net 30 invoices are each tracked against their own terms.
Can I organize invoices by project as well as by client?+
Yes. You can use the invoice name and notes fields to organize by project within a client. For example: 'Client Name — Project X — Invoice #3.' This keeps multi-project client billing clear.
